All the best on your recovery, hoping that your eye condition heals soonest.
As for violent extremes in personality, that is both in the music I love and I guess also in the written work I do, which is so extremely distinct that I'm looking to christen it with different author names.
But music will find me singing to classical cantata one minute or pogoing to 1977 punk the next. I'm very happy swinging mercurially from one state to another, and my key deities like Seth and Tezcatlipoca are very like Abraxas and may be subsumed into that name in the spiritus mundi.
Thanks so much for mentioning my work so kindly - gosh, it does look like I have a pizza obsession, doesn't it? I swear I have a range of non-pizza-inflected work as well.
Lol no drama taken. It begs the question, does something need be concealed if it never faced the risk of being seen in the first place.
It was both, unless I've been heavily mandela-affected.
Jung used Abraxas as a symbol of the individuation process. One of my besties is much better-suited than I to chat about Hesse, in that Emil Sinclair joint.
Well to be seen can be a whole conversation in itself.
To be seen doesn’t mean to be understood, or accepted. In many cases openness also comes from a space of privilege.
Some can’t afford to be open.
I for one, Am over the whole martyr mindset romanticization. Meaning in my experience, accepting what comes with my openness ain’t worth the trouble, even if it’s the spark for another’s push in their struggle.
Also, I’m stupid, I meant Hesse mentioning Abraxas first lol
“But wholeness isn’t consistent.”

All parts of me are buried to the ones looking in.
Took time to understand the balance between concealment and openness.
I swear I ain’t trying to be dramatic lol
I used to be heavy into Jung.
Wasn’t Herman Hesse the one out of the two to mention Abraxas?
